Born and raised in Ithaca, NY Elizabeth has had a passion for theater and team sports since before she can remember. She grew up at The Hangar Theatre in the Next Generation Theater program and spent her free time playing baseball in little league. Her joy for collaboration and teamwork along with creative movement and storytelling followed her into adulthood where she began teaching theater, dance, and yoga and began working professionally both internationally and locally in the theater arts. She is a produced playwright and has performed both in theater and film. As a neurodivergent artist she is passionate about cultivating safe spaces and healthy communication as we learn about ourselves, each other and endeavor to make the world a better place through the pure act of play.

"Elizabeth Seldin is an exceptional teacher, always taking into account the needs of her students, fostering a creative and safe atmosphere, and teaching her students not only theatre, but tools they can use throughout their lives. She works collaboratively both with other teachers and her students and is a joy to teach with."- Evie Hammer-Lester
Elizabeth is one of the BEST artistic collaborators I’ve ever worked with. Her attention and prioritization of health and care feel revolutionary in this industry built on a “show must go on” mentality. My truest artistic self is able to shine through when Elizabeth’s around.- Carley Robinson

“Et Le Lion” touched me in an unexpected way. Ms. Seldin’s acute observations of the human condition were transformative. She has a gift, not only of magic, but also of words. Her prose, poetry, music and aura were bewitching. "
“There’s a seductive quality of haunted spaces,” Seldin continues. “Something happened there—behind the curtain—something unseen that wants to be seen.”
